Social Gatherings

I was invited by my friends Em and Beeyan to attend a social gathering with one of the many Filipino social groups somewhere in the upper south. I went because it's been a while since the last time I hanged out with them, and it's also nice to go out sometimes for me to see and meet with some other Filipino peoples. Good thing I went because I unexpectedly met Phamzy in real person for the first time. She is my online friend whom I met in one of the online social networks. It's so funny. We both shocked and glad about our meetings. Anyhow, the said party was full of fun it seems like all the people were there was having a great time. Why not?

My siblings are all girls, mostly of my cousins lives nearby our house are girls so growing up in the family where the women are so redundant things for boys were not brought up in the house! That's why before I don't like comics, sports and video games what I do like about most are playing with dolls, dresses, shoes, bags or anything that goes for girls. But life is a constant change you know especially I grew up in the years where the high technology was booming. Video games are everywhere for all ages! That's what makes cool about it.

My first casual games I ever played with was Super Mario video game and it never stop there until the countless games goes more and more. When Zuma Deluxe was launched they have a free trial to play online and I was so hooked with it. And oh the Bejeweled Twist, Peggle, and some other best casual games are so awesome. I know they are addictive video games but I had fun playing with it during my boredom time. One thing I like about these games are not pricey and they are easy to play.

Strawberry Delight

While I am recuperating from nasal congestion, sore throat, and severe cough the other day mom gave me fresh strawberries to eat (a DOLE brand) in order to nourish my body with a vitamin C, aside of course the vitamin C tablets where I supposed to intake everyday (because sometimes I'm just being too lazy). The strawberries were so HUGE, fresh, and sweet-and-sour kind of taste. Its PERFECT for me. I haven't tried those kind of strawberries as in the huge one before in my entire life. I swear. I used to get a small one, if not, it's big and it taste too sour or just too ripe. I guess perhaps I don't know how to pick the best out of it.
I had my strawberries eaten dipped with salt. I ate the whole box in just one sitting without even noticing it. Just because it is so yummy!

Many people I know were hardly get a fine solution for losing their weights. Like for instance my close friend was and still looking for the best diet pills that would works for her. The problem is she didn't research for it instead she just relying from other people's feedback which leads her by getting a misinformation. I don't think that's right. Not at all. I am feeling so ill right now, having severe sore throat and running nose and cough are fine with me but having headache at the same time are too much. Thankfully I don't have a fever where I can do some important matters that I need to attend personally. My in-laws stocks me tones of medicines for my easily recovery, and the husband's time for me to relax. Soon I'll be okay.

P.s. my in-car driving lessons will end tomorrow. I am a happy camper because finally for so many years I can tell the highest confident level to drive in the road I have right now is over the top! :)

R.I.P President Corazon Cojuangco Aquino

Manila, Philippines- Today, August 5, 2009, Wednesday (Philippine time) the first woman President of the Philippines and in Asia, is the former President Corazon Cojuangco Aquino's funeral in Manila Memorial Park. It has been declared by the Malacanang Palace as a non-working special holiday in observance of the burial rights of the former and late President Corazon Aquino. I just wanna say thank you Mrs. President without your courage to continue to fight of what's your husband fought for there will be no democracy in the Philippines right now. Even I am now living in the USA I am still proud of being a Filipino. Mabuhay po!

iHeart Kohler Faucet

While I was browsing the Internet I found many online stores are crushing down the price of its selling item. As in big time. Big time brands company are doing it just to liquidate their stocks on hand for fall season. Mostly attractive items are clothes, bags, shoes, etc. Unfortunately those are not my needs as I need to have a shower faucet for our bathroom downstairs as our old faucet need a new replacement, and I might consider of getting a new one since the Kohler faucet is having a huge sale right now.

The Road Is Driving Me Crazy!

I hit the road at last! Today is my second day for in-car lessons, four more to go before I confidently drive with my own car. Sigh. Phew! I'll tell you I get so nervous. I even puke! :-(
