Battery Park, New York

The ferries pier to take us to Liberty and Ellis Island is in Battery Park located at the southern tip (lower) of Manhattan.

From the west side of Manhattan where we stayed at, we took the subway 1 line for South Ferry station. Upon entering the park I like how it looks simple, warm and elegance. Very pretty, especially when you are facing at the harbor. There are monuments and memorials here. A well maintain park you would love to hangout.

The opposite side of the park as you can see are the skyscraper buildings of Financial District in the background. Securities are visible in that area because of the pier going to Liberty Island is in there, and of course nearby is where the Ground Zero.

Spotted beautiful cherry blossom trees which makes me fell in love even more of the park. What a lovely sight!

Glowing foliage in Spring. Just awesome.

Even though the city of New York is polluted as we all know,  but when I'm at that park this Spring I didn't feel that way. The air is so fresh and chilly.
