New York: Belvedere Castle in Central Park

We did a long walk in Central Park starting in west side gate area to look for the Belvedere castle. After a few minutes walking and stopping at some sight to see we finally found it. This castle is one of Central Park attractions because its beauty. This was built in 1872 intended to be a Victorian Folly, a fantasy structure that provides a great backdrop and views, but without a real intended purpose.

The stairway to first balcony.

The first balcony view over the top of the castle.

My friend M posing with the signage board while waiting our turn to use the narrow staircase to go to the top floor.

This staircase is very narrow. Only one way.

Love this photo of my friend M and I looking at the stunning view of Central Park.

Oh hello there, Mr. Photographer! Lol

Belvedere is pretty awesome. Up in the balcony you'll get a wonderful view of some Central Park's most beautiful and famous landmark's such as the Delacorte Theater, the Great Lawn, the Turtle Pond, and the Ramble.
