Soho is notable for being the location for shopping, dining, and City walk sightseeing. It's a fashionable neighborhood in Lower Manhattan with lots of boutiques, art and restaurants. Young vibrant area, though it's too crowded but it really is a cool town. Love the cobblestone streets filled with good shops, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. And of course I'm amuse by the outside ironwork fire escapes. So New York. :)
It's a bit far from midtown, however, public transportation is accessible- hop the subway to canal street then you'll explore the town of Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown in just a day.
